So I managed to impress her with my love of Transfiguration. Excellent. I'm sure to be in her good graces with that. Plus, she says it's a favorite of hers. There's one and the only thing in common we have so far. Now let's get to know her personally. Lucas thought to himself.
He decided that his time with Lizzie wasn't too horrible. He hadn't known what to expect before coming here today. He didn't know Lizzie before so there was nothing between the two beforehand. After seeing her, Lucas thought she may be open to do anything. That wasn't happening either. Lucas had to think of some way to get her to the bed or at least get her to be more open to touch. He shook his head and looked back at Lizzie as she spoke about her home life.
He heard her talk about how her parents were an older pair and that they were workaholics. She even said they ignored her. What kind of parents did she have? Lucas's parents didn't ignore him; if they did, they were usually angry with him. Still, how could her parents ignore her? Hell, did they know she still existed? She mentioned that she read to keep herself busy. No mention of friends back either, he noticed. So she was a lonely young woman. She also mentioned that she wanted to do something with her life after Hogwarts. Lucas smiled kindly and took her hand in his.
"Lizzie, I may not know much about you, but to have your own parents barely acknowledge you? It's like they forget your own existence! Granted, my parents ignore me, but they only do it when I make them furious. You should want to your parents to involved with you besides their jobs. You should be their number one priority, not some job. And as for the future, I'm sure with brains like yours, you can do anything you want." Lucas told her with gusto.
