reactions were something dylan loved to get out of people, it was just amusing to see peopel's faces whenever he was being an ass or breaking the rules or when he was just messing with them. it was also nice to see a girl's reaction when he was being nice with them or when he was just having a plain old good time with them... in bed. dylan was also quick to judge people; he didn't have time to spare going to talk to every single person and become friends with each and every one of them, and so he just kept the first impression that he got from them. he knew a lot of people did that and it was the exact reason why people called him such a mess. he didn't mind that of course, and in his opinion the only people worth keeping close were the people who managed to look beyond that... and the people he could annoy just for the heck of it.
which is why he was in the middle of the entrance at this time of night, not doing anything but whistling and drawing attention to himself. his fellow griffindors would ignore him, and so would his head of house. however, if it was a slytherin... that would've been fun. especially if it was a female snake. he never had the time to work on his charms with members of the opposite gender now that he was matched. but of course, it couldn't hurt to flirt here and there, right? mr. bare arse with little butterfly wings couldn't shoot him just because he was having a bit of fun, right? he danced around, waiting for someone to yell at him.
because that's what he was looking for. a good altercation of some sort.
omg worst post in a long time. i'm so sorry. >< it's just that i haven't "broken in" to dy's character yet since i never use him. -.- it'll get better... i hope. /:

Edward felt as if he ruled the school. This was his school. It was his free will to fight of all those ruddy crime breakers. Mainly those damn slytherins who defied him the most. It never took Edward a second thought to report them and make them lose a few house points. It also never took him a second thought to give them a detention. Those slytherins were the one house that thought they were better than everyone else was. The one house that really got under his skin… ( of course, the others got under his skin as well… but really…) they had their noses in the air farther than Edward sometimes. However, it never stopped him from doing it right back, with more style of course…
And then…
There was those damn Gryffindors… including that stupid Gweneth Stewart. That stupid girl he had already seen a few times tonight, and she was not doing her job right. She was letting things slide. It was so not acceptable in Edward’s books. Therefore, he would follow those students she let off the hook, and give them a good ass detention.
As Edward’s proper walk led him through the school, his head boy badge shining out upon his outfit, he wondered through the nearly empty halls, a proud, smug look laid upon his face. It was always a delight to have given a few detentions already, and walk through completely empty halls, where everyone was in their rightful place. Of course, there was always a few other prefects in the hallway. He would nod at some of the fellow Ravenclaws, and simply ignore all the other houses. However, there was that one particular Gryffindor that just so happened to be the head girl which, would not be ignored because she received a death glare instead. He always loathed seeing her, and what irked him the most was when he caught her letting rule breakers off the hook.
Throughout his little Head Boy Journey, he came across the entrance hall, to find a ruddy Gryffindor, playing about in the halls. Dylan Winters; was the boy’s name. He had trouble with this boy before. A rule breaker; a boy that felt as if nobody could tell him what to do; that he had no rules to follow…
Edward let out a grunt, as he strode over, and shook his head at the Gryffindor student.
“ Well, well, well… What do we have here?” he asked, with a cocky, Edward expression on his face when he was about to catch a student breaking a rule, and about to get himself rewarded for catching a ‘criminal.’
